Greetings Rotarians!

I hope you are all doing well, being safe, and enjoying your club meetings, most likely online through Zoom or Go To Meeting! There is much to do to start a new Rotary year, and I know many of our clubs already have their goals in place, a committee structure and a calendar of events for the year. The big question being whether those events can or should be converted to virtual events, not an easy decision. Please let us know if we can assist you in at way with your decision making. There are plenty of resources to pull off a successful virtual event.

I would ask all of you to check out our District 7210 website at: www.rotarydistrict7210.org
Our Public Image Committee has started to update and make changes to the website. Many thanks to Chair Leo Kaytes, District Executive Secretary Carrie Hernandez, IPDG Cindie Kish, DGE Mike Polasek, and DGN Larry Palant. Also, please take a look at the video that I did to introduce the year. I hope you enjoy it, and I am not giving up my day job for a video career!

As we look to start getting into a rhythm for this new Rotary year, I ask all of you to think about how you can GROW ROTARY in your club and the District. Over the last 10 years, we have lost 10 Clubs and almost 300 members, or 20% of our district membership. We start the year at 1534 members, 55 Clubs, 42 Interact Clubs with 1000 students, and 2 Rotaract Clubs.

So, in everything you do, think about how to maintain and grow your club's membership. That starts with engaging your existing members and thinking about innovative ways to grow. We will be launching a District wide GROW ROTARY initiative in the near future that will give you the tools to succeed!

I have held off on the schedule for the Governor visits to your clubs or service projects in the hopes of visiting in person, however whether it's in person or on a Zoom meeting, please be prepared to talk membership and what you are doing to THINK DIFFERENTLY about membership!

I am excited about our year, our team and the all of the great and dedicated Rotarians who are service oriented and looking to DO GOOD and HAVE FUN!

Warm regards and much love to all!

DG Tony
